Shawneequa Collier

Shawneequa Callier, an Associate Professor of medical ethics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, is a long time resident of Washington, D.C. with various volunteer commitments to the community here and in her hometown of Queens, New York. She serves as a sponsor and mentor with the local organization, Generation Hope, and on the Board and Scholarship Committee for the African American Caribbean Education Committee in Queens. Shawneequa also volunteers as a donor advocate at the GW Transplant Institute, member of the GW Hospital Ethics Committee, and Special Volunteer at the Center for Research on Genomics and Global Health at the National Institutes of Health. Shawneequa seeks to remain deeply connected with the community around her through her service and professional work and joined the BCBF Board as a way to more broadly support nonprofit organizations in the DC community.
